Every entry below is confirmed by the restaurant's own site or social media, or by two independent local news sources. If we can't confirm an address and opening date, it doesn't make the list.

Chef Michael Lawson, formerly of Eataly NorthPark and Gemma, took over the space left by Vieux Carre at Parker Square. The menu runs to wine, cocktails and mid-sized plates rather than a full dinner service. More info

Almacén El Gallo

Chef Rodrigo Rivera Rio, who holds Michelin stars for his Monterrey restaurant KOLI, leads the kitchen in the old First National Bank building downtown. The menu covers fondas and cantina-style dishes from central Mexico. More info
Isla y Fuego Bar and Grill

Taking over a former Applebee's at Uptown Village with revolving sushi, a self-serve ramen bar and all-you-can-eat pricing. Reporting in mid-September pointed to a late-September opening, and we don't have a confirmed opening day yet. More info

Harwood Hospitality Group's new two-story steakhouse in the Harwood District, built around its HWD Akaushi beef program and a certified Kobe program. The lower level is a separate lounge with TVs for a more casual visit. More info

The Dallas-based chain's fifth DFW location, with a rooftop looking out over Lake Ray Hubbard. The company has targeted Q4 2026 without a firmer date, so treat that as a season, not a day. More info
