Halloween Yards Worth a Drive in DFW

Updated as neighbors send them in

A front yard decorated for Halloween with glowing jack-o-lanterns and lights at night

Some DFW neighbors go all out for Halloween: giant spiders, glowing trees, graveyards across the whole front yard. These are the ones worth a slow drive or an after-dinner walk with the kids. Every house on this list was shared by the people who live there.

The first yards are on their way. Know a great one, or decorated your own? Add it below.

Drive-by manners

  • Stay on the sidewalk or in the car. These are people's homes. Enjoy the yard from the street.
  • Go after dark, and slowly. Most displays light up around sunset. Watch for kids crossing.
  • Park so driveways stay clear, and keep it quiet after 9 p.m.

Show off your yard

Decorated your house this year? Send it in and we'll add it to the list. Only send your own home, or one where the owner said yes.

More Halloween plans: free trunk-or-treats and festivals and haunted houses.
